8. Cargo Handling
- Secure all freight in compliance with FMCSA cargo securement rules.
- Verify load weight, balance, and documentation before departure.

9. Communication Standards
- All drivers must maintain open communication with dispatch.
- GPS tracking must remain active during transit.
- Emergencies or delays must be reported immediately.
10. Safety & Compliance
- Zero tolerance for drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times.
- Follow all speed limits, traffic laws, and company safety guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs.
11. Incident Reporting
- All accidents, cargo damage, or regulatory violations must be reported to management within 1 hour of occurrence.
- A written incident report must be submitted within 24 hours.

- All client information, routes, and rate details are confidential. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or contract, and potential legal action if applicable.

Cargo Handling & Warehouse Safety

- Loading & Unloading Safety in Warehouses:
- Always follow warehouse safety protocols and posted signage.
- Wear required PPE (e.g., high-visibility vests, gloves, hard hats, safety shoes).
- Stay clear of forklift and pallet jack paths.
- Ensure truck wheels are chocked and dock locks engaged before loading/unloading begins.
- Never stand on pallets, inside trailers without proper flooring, or under suspended loads.
- Communicate clearly with warehouse staff before moving equipment or cargo.
- Keep hands, feet, and body parts clear of pinch points when handling freight.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to warehouse personnel and dispatch.
